About 1:30 am July 2nd Lawrence County Deputies responded to a call of a person hiding in the bushes located near the Imboden Area Charter School.

Upon arrival deputies arrested Justin McQuay of Salem for criminal trespassing, public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance (meth).

When questioned on the scene McQuay told deputies that he had about 12 beers and was looking for a friend, when asked if he had anything in his possession he admitted to having meth in his cigarette pack. When searched the deputies did find meth.

McQuay was arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
