The Imboden City Council during it’s regular meeting decided to place a curfew on the Imboden City Park effective immediately at 10pm. Terry Smith of the City proposed the curfew due to the rash of vandalism that has occured.
Vehicles or persons in the park after 10pm will be reported to the Lawrence County Sherriffs Department. Also, Terry Smith stated that the fishing park closes at dusk and there is no overnight camping allowed.
The council approved the motion to place the curfew on the park. Also Mayor Gene Dearen wanted to remind citizens that we now have two Deputies and a State Trooper living in town. Also in regards to the curfew, Fire Department Chief Chris Jones asked that the curfew be placed on the city’s website as well.
