Just 30 days ago, Chief Chris Jones and the Imboden Fire department made it’s choice on a new truck for the fire department.
On the 27th of January the IVFD put the truck into service early with the threat of the snow storm. The truck named Rescue 4 is the primary rescue truck for the IVFD, it contains not only over 600 gallons of water for fire fighting but also the extracation tools used in automobile accidents. This truck serves for almost ever call the IVFD recieves. The 2004 F-450 4×4 Diesel is a welcome addition to the IVFD fleet.
