Just over a week after Imboden was blanketed with a foot of snow, the Imboden area is facing another snow storm. In the early hours of Monday, February 8th residence awoke to around an inch or inch and a half of snow and still snowing.

Predictions are calling for snow all day with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Tempatures are holding just above freezing but expected to fall tonight, therefore refreezing on the roadways. Most of the primary roads in the area were passable but gravel county roads were beginning to become slushy.

Sloan-Hendrix Schools and the Imboden Area Charter School called off this morning. No word at the time of this article concerning tommorrow for the schools.
