Looking for a quick and simple holiday recipes? Here are a few easy and yummy treats that you can whip up before Christmas.
Super Easy Peanut Butter Fudge
1 cup of real butter (2 sticks)
1 cup of peanut butter
1 tsp. of vanilla
1 pound of powdered sugar
Place a sheet of waxed paper in a 7×13 inch baking pan.
Butter the waxed paper lightly to keep fudge from sticking.
Microwave butter and peanut butter in a bowl for 1 and a half minutes.
Stir and microwave 1 and a half more minutes. Add vanilla and sugar.
Stir well and pour into prepared baking pan.
Cover and place in freezer for 1 hour. Then cut into bite sized squares.
Candy Cane Marshmallows
Almond bark squares or semi sweet chocolate chips (as much as you think you will need)
Large bag of marshmallows.
candy canes (crushed)
Almond Bark or Chocolate chips (melt in microwave for 1 minute)
Place a toothpick through each large marshmallow and dip end into chocolate or almond bark.
Roll end into crushed candy canes and place into a muffin cup to set.
Michelle’s Cheesecake (makes 2)
2 graham cracker crusts
2 packages of cream cheese (soften)
1 can of eagle brand milk
3/4 of a large cool whip
Toppings– Anything you want! I made one topped with crushed/toasted pecans and caramel syrup. Another with 2 crushed skor candy bars and chocolate syrup.
Blend cream cheese and eagle brand milk until lumps are gone. Stir in cool whip and pour into graham cracker shells.
Add whatever topping you choose (crushed candy bars, chocolate syrup, coconut, pecans, caramel,etc.)
(use the clear shell lids to cover your cheesecakes!)
Place into freezer for at least one hour to set.

Sausage Balls
I double this recipe
8 oz. cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 1/2 cups of bisquick
1 lb. of sausage
Mix ingredients throughly and roll into small balls.
You can freeze half (or all)
Place on cookie sheet (spaced)
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until browned.
Makes a nice appetizer or we eat them Christmas morning with sweet rolls.
