Two Sloan-Hendrix high school students and the driver’s education teacher were involved in a one vehicle rollover at the intersection of Rowsey Road and Hwy.115 just after 10:00 am Wednesday. The accident occured when the vehicle lost control entering Hwy 115 overturning and coming to rest upside down in the middle of the highway. The students and teacher crawled out of the overturned vehicle to safety. The teacher notified Mr. Walton of Sloan-Hendrix Public Schools who intern notified the parents of the students involved. Lawrence County Sherriffs Department investigated the accident. The teacher , Mr. Grisham was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital by private vehicle, one of the two students was attended to by the school nurse for minor cuts. The vehicle was towed by Dails Wrecker Service from the scene. Everyone in the vehicle were wearing seat belts.
