Man Arrested After Threatening 3 People, Tells Officer He’s Gonna Kill Everyone At The Jail
Authorities report a man from Stone County was arrested in Baxter County after threatening to shoot three people and then allegedly firing shots.
William Eugene Smith, age 63 of Mountain View was arrested at a residence in Baxter County.
Law enforcement noted that while being transported to the jail, Smith told officers that he was going to kill everyone in the jail.
Smith is charged with three counts of felony aggravated assault and a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm along with a charge of violation of an order of protection.
He also is charged as a habitual offender.
Smith’s bonds total $100,000.00
