According to the Arkansas State Police, one person died and two others were injured when their vehicle was involved in a collision with a train.
Details from the ASP report state the accident occurred at 6:10 p.m. on Friday, July 5th, in the 16000 block of Hwy 63 in Greene County.
According to the ASP fatal crash report, a 2020 Ford was on an access road when the driver failed to yield the right of way and a train struck the front passenger side door of the vehicle.
Kathryn L. Boone, age 33 of Marion, who was a passenger in the Ford, died in the crash.
Two other passengers, Taylor J. Boone, age 35 of Marion and an unnamed minor were injured and taken to St. Bernards Medical Center and Regional One Health in Memphis.
The driver of the vehicle was not identified in the ASP report.
