Authorities report that Robert Vona, age 79 died when he fell from his boat when the anchor got hung, causing him to fall out of the boat.
Witnesses say Vona was underwater for two or three minutes before another boat got to him and pulled his body out of the water.
The drowning occurred on the White River near Buffalo City, Arkansas on Friday.
