From the Sharp County Sheriff:
I was made aware of another phone scam. This scam is calling people acting as a Sharp County Deputy claim there is a warrant for their arrest. They make this more believable by stating that Judge Mark R. Johnson is the one that has issued the arrest warrant.
Folks this is NOT how it works. No one will call you by phone requesting money to take care of a warrant. Never ever give personal information or send money regardless of what they are telling you.
