From State Representative Bart Schulz , Arkansas House Of Representatives District 28:
Last Wednesday, the Arkansas Supreme Court security committee awarded the yearly court security grants.
Out of district 28, both Independence and Lawrence counties received grants.
I have proudly served on this committee for the past year and a half, and am even more proud that my colleagues in the legislature have approved a significant increase in the total amount we have to award from. This will help ensure court safety throughout our state.
I applaud the efforts all of our counties make to keep our courtrooms safe.
