The concert band and jazz band at Williams Baptist University will present their spring concert on Tuesday, April 23. The performance begins at 6:00 p.m. at WBU’s Manley Chapel.
The concert band will perform several selections, including arrangements of the United Nations March; Pirates; Precious Lord, Take My Hand and They Led My Lord Away.
The jazz band will perform several upbeat numbers, including songs the group performed at Wings of Honor Museum the day of the Great American Eclipse.
Both bands will be conducted by WBU Director of Bands Rod Plunkett. The performance is free, and the public is invited.
Williams is a private, Christian university in Walnut Ridge.
