Evangeline Marquez, age 54 of Paragould was arrested today on a felony bench warrant stemming from incidents of forgery and theft that occurred in late 2023. Marquez had been working for a home health company when the alleged incidents occurred. Below are the facts constituting probable cause.
Bond was set at $15,000 in any form. Upon release as conditions of bond, Marquez is prohibited from having any contact with the victim, possessing firearms, and prohibited from committing any further felonies or engaging in any conduct that could result in her arrest. Marquez is currently being temporarily held in the Lawrence County Jail on the following charges:
- 4 counts of Forgery, Class C Felony
-1 count of Theft of Property, Class D Felony - 3 counts of Theft of Property, Class A Misdemeanor
- Greene County Sheriff Brad Snyder
