On Friday, February 16th, Greene County deputies, the 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force, and Arkansas Probation and Parole conducted a parole visit at 2715 Hwy 141 S. Parolee Maressa Cobb was paroled out to this residence.

Upon arrival, a male subject later identified as Clinton Carter exited the rear of the residence where he encountered sheriff’s deputies. After providing officers on scene with false information, further investigation turned up multiple different narcotics and paraphernalia. Carter was placed into custody and charged with the following:

Possession of Methamphetamine, Class A Felony

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class D Felony

Use of a Communication Device, Class C Felony

Possessing an Instrument of Crime, Class A Misdemeanor

Possession of Schedule VI Substance With Intent to Deliver, Class A Misdemeanor (Two Counts)

Possession of Controlled Substance, Class A Misdemeanor

Probable Cause was established and a bond was set at $50,000. Carter posted bond and awaits a court date in Circuit Court at a later date.
