David Eugene Baker, 59 of Kensett passed away January 15, 2024, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock.
Born December 2, 1964, in Newport, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Luler Bell Boaz Baker. He was a God-fearing man with a very strong faith in Jesus. David loved to tinker with things, taking them apart just to see how they worked, rebuild all sorts of machines, and he was always on the go.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Robert Baker; two brothers, Raymond and Bobby Baker; and one sister, Betty Clements.
Survivors include his daughter, Jessica (Mario) Villarreal of Walnut Ridge; three grandchildren, Mati, Sophia, and Rebekah Villarreal all of Walnut Ridge; four sisters, Pat Reed of Kensett, Rita Sutterfield of Tuckerman, Ann Bell of Batesville, and Sheryl Johnson of Trumann; his fiancé, Debbie Tanner of the home; his best friend, Jamie Apple of Kensett; and many other relatives and friends.
