Authorities report that 39-year-old Patricia Kersey has pled guilty to two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor after a baby tested positive for drugs.
Kersey was sentenced to six years in prison.
The baby was placed in foster care.
Kersey has an extensive criminal record with numerous charges in both Carroll County and Baxter County for charges ranging from possession of instruments of crime, drug paraphernalia and felony drug possession.
