Multiple agencies, including the Arkansas Department of Corrections K9 Unit from Calico Rock, are currently in the Evening Star Community searching for a suspect that fled from Randolph County authorities earlier this afternoon. It is believed that this suspect is armed, and currently confined to a corn field.
Couch Helicopter is currently using a helicopter to assist with searching for the suspect, in addition to the tracking dogs from ADC.
We ask for residents to avoid the area at this time. I will update when we have a resolution to this matter.
