Authorities are reporting a man from Cherokee Village died last week after being stung by yellowjackets.
Sharp County 911 received a report just before 10:00 am on August 16th of a man being stung multiple times by yellow jackets that came from under his porch.
The victim was reportedly having medical complications when emergency responders arrived and was lying face down on the ground unresponsive.
CPR was immediately started and the man was transported to a medical facility where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities reported the man had numerous medical issues and a specific cause of death has not been determined at this time. The identity of the victim has not been released.
