On July 28th a Randolph County judge found probable cause to charge Thomas Michael Elder age 23 with one count of rape, a Class Y felony.
According to court documents, the victim stated to investigators on July 27th that Elder had contact with the victim and showed a video of a conversation of a conversation with the suspect where he allegedly goes into details about his sexual acts.
Elder was arrested and is currently in the Randolph County Detention Center awaiting his next court appearance.
