Pocahontas Police along with Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) arrested a man on suspicion of child pornography according to a media release.

Officers arrested Blake Nicolasa Searcy, age 22 on Wednesday, July 5, on a charge of distributing, possessing, or viewing sexual material involving a child, a Class C felony.

Investigators from Pocahontas Police Department along with the FBI and DHS, conducted a search on June 6 of Searcy’s social media accounts.

During the search on the social media accounts, authorities found search a history involving various sexual fetishes and child exploitation according to the release.

On July 5th officers conducted an additional search warrant on Searcy’s home on Vicki Street In Pocahontas.

Searcy was found by authorities in Jonesboro and taken in for questioning.

Searcy admitted to looking up and downloading sexual material that involved children using his cell phone.

A judge issued a search warrant for his phone, results are still pending.

Searcy was arrested and is being held in the Randolph County Detention Center.
