The Arkansas Highway Police, a division of the Arkansas Department Of Transportation announces they will distribute 100,000 mask to truck drivers throughout Arkansas.
The distribution will take place in weigh stations and rest areas across the state. AHP stated this was a coordinated effort with the US Department Of Transportation and FEMA.
AHP acknowledges the importance of the safety of our nations over the road drivers that keep the supply chain moving.
Arkansas was the first state to receive mask for distribution to the truck drivers, FEMA is also distributing an additional 1,000,000 mask for drivers nationwide during this program to help keep America’s trucking industry safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
