Free help with your tax returns, including electronic filing, will be offered again to persons of all ages at the AARP Tax-Aide site at Koinonia Christian Fellowship in Imboden. AARP- Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest, free, volunteer-run tax counseling and preparation service. Our free service can answer most tax issues faced by middle and low-income taxpayers of any age, with special attention to those age 60 and older.
The Imboden site will be one mile west of town on Hwy 412 at the entrance to the Cedar Glade Baptist Encampment and then left into the Koinonia Christian Fellowship grounds. Call 501-313-0745, and leave a message. Your call will be returned to set up an appointment. The site will be open Tuesdays beginning on Feb. 4 and ending on April 10. In February some Saturdays and Thursdays will also be available for appointments.
Appointments are highly recommended, but walk-ins are accepted on an “if possible†basis. Look for the yellow sign on Highway 412.
With the help of more than 32,000 volunteers, the AARP Tax-Aide program provides free tax preparation and assistance services to millions of low- and middle-income taxpayers. Electronic filing is offered, free of charge, by the program. The program’s funding sources include the US Internal Revenue Service, AARP, and private contributions.
